Diploma Exam Information

Please go to myPass.alberta.ca to set up an account with Alberta Education. You will be able to see your transcript, see your diploma marks, and order official transcripts.

1) STUDENTS WRITING AN EXAM for the FIRST TIME and DOING THE COURSE –
an exam will be ordered for you, so don’t worry. Your teacher will inform you of
where you will write. If you have never written the exam before, the first time is
free.
OR

2) STUDENTS REWRITING AN EXAM plus DOING THE COURSE- YOU MUST PAY A REWRITE FEE

You will need to go to Alberta Education at http://education.alberta.ca/students/exams/rewrites/ . You will have to set up an account there too, to pay for rewrite diplomas. You will need your Alberta Education Number (9 digits long). You may ask the school office for this if you do not have it. Pay if you are rewriting, and BRING IN A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WRITE.
OR
3) STUDENTS CHALLENGING A DIPLOMA EXAM WITHOUT THE COURSE:

If you wish to challenge a diploma exam only, you must be a graduate or a mature student (19 as of September 1st of the current school year, 2015-2016).
You will need to go to Alberta Education at:
http://education.alberta.ca/students/exams/rewrites/. You will have to set up an
account there too to order and/or pay for rewrite diplomas.

If you are in Airdrie, you will use the school name Airdrie Learning Connection and the code 0404 to order your exam, whether rewriting or writing for the first time. THIS IS OPEN TO MATURE STUDENTS CHALLENGING ONLY. Pay if you are rewriting, and BRING IN A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT OR YOU WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED TO WRITE.

All Airdrie exams are written at Croxford High School for all sittings.
