Math 30-2

Pre-requisite: Students must have completed Mathematics 20-2 with 50% or more. It is recommended that students have over 65% in Math 20-2 to proceed with Math 30-2. There is a 30% Diploma Exam in this course.

Course Overview:

Mathematics 30-2 emphasizes the mathematical understandings and critical thinking skills for daily life, direct entry into the workforce, and post-secondary studies in programs that do not require the study of calculus.

Module 2 – Probability
Module 3 – Permutations, Combinations, and the Fund. Counting Principle
Module 4 – Polynomials
Module 5 – Rational Expressions
Module 6 – Sinusiodal Functions
Module 7 – Exponents and Logarithms
Module 8 – Research Project
